Merry Christmas from Montenegro

Posted by Picasa

Celebrating Christmas in a foreign country is always a bit different. This year we will have a quiet Christmas morning and head up to the mountains in the north of Montenegro for a short ski trip.

Montenegrins celebrate Christmas on the 7th of January in accordance with the Orthodox calendar. I will share more about their traditions in January. Much like Russia, they give gifts on New Year's Eve and not on Christmas.

Well, off to do some Christmas baking for some friends.

From our house to yours,

Merry Christmas

May you experience the Joy of Christmas
as you celebrate the birth of Jesus.

Chris, Jill and Christian
