An Attitude of Gratitude
I have followed a blog over the past several months -- probably closer to a year. Actually, a friend from Russia that is now in the Ukraine, pointed me to the blog. The writer is a truly gifted writer and photographer, but one of the things I enjoyed the most was reading a list that she was making. I also enjoy reading my friend's in the Ukraine's list. What is so special about a list you might ask. This is no ordinary list, but a list of 1000 gifts, blessing and/or graces from God. So, today, on Thanksgiving Day, I will begin my journey of 1000 gifts.
1. A son who sings "The Old Rugged Cross" as he is getting ready for bed.
2. A husband who cleans the kitchen.
3. Friends to share Thanksgiving with.
4. Sweet Potatoes
5. A HUGE turkey
6. Forgiveness
7. A new plant
8. Health
9. Sunny days
10. Hearing my mom's voice
11. God's grace
