Christian's School

Here is Christian's school. It is located about 5 minutes from our house and he walks everyday. School starts at 7:30 and he usually gets home between 12:00 and 1:00. There is a second session at the school for the younger children.

They do not serve lunch at the school, but there are always little kiosks near the school for the kids to buy snacks during break time. Christian met a Russian lady who owns one of the kiosks and he buys a pizza everyday and chats with her. Sometimes on Saturday he just goes by to talk to her. Good practice for his Russian!

This is the vie behind his school -- there is a lighted basketball/soccer/handball field there. Most evenings there are kids playing something there.
