Coffee Bean

Many of you have asked about the Coffee Bean -- It is a wonderful little place right smack dab in the middle of Ivanovo -- You just could not get any closer to being in the middle of town.  I will take some pictures next time.  

We often thought about opening our own coffee house here in Ivanovo -- Chris even wrote up a business plan.  Then we read an interesting book by Neil Cole -- who also had a dream of opening up a coffee house in California.  Instead of starting his own business, he just used an existing coffee house.   What a concept, so that is what we are doing!  

Every Tuesday and Thursday, you will find us at the Coffee Bean -- drinking tea, coffee, and sometimes eating American style desserts.  But more importantly, we are sharing our lives with students in a natural way.  Tonight there were 15 students there!!!  And all of them had the chance to hear why we live in Ivanovo -- pretty soon they will believe us.  It is amazing the chances we have had to share with others our life story.

Our dream is that one day, the students too will be able to share a story about how their lives were changed at the Coffee Bean.  So if you are ever in Ivanovo, come on over for a cup of coffee, or a chai latte, or a chocolate autumn (hot chocolate).  They will even make you a London Fog!
