ROC Worship

ROC Ivanovo -- Reach Out Culturally
The past 5 days have been filled with cultural events -- sports, holidays, get to know you, religion, and today worship at the Willeke House. We had about 10 Russian Students and 10 American students singing and studying the Bible together in a mixture of Russian and English. Sarah and Alys (our journey girls) were so funny -- they had not sung the songs in English in so long that they had forgotten the words and had to use the song sheet to sing in English.

Maybe a glimpse of what heaven will be like with different languages praising God and everyone understanding what is being said.

Tonight we studied the story of Jesus and Nicodemus -- and had great discussion afterwards. Chris told the story in English and then we broke up into 3 groups to discuss the story. Kelsey did a great job working in her testimony and maybe a few of the Russian students began to think about what it means to really believe in Christ. They definitely heard a clear presentation of the gospel this evening!!!
Thanks Tennessee Team for coming to visit us!
