Happy Kids

Yesterday, we went to see the kids. Andrew was as active as ever -- and must be cutting teeth somewhere, because everything went into his mouth! He is quickly learning the word NO and seems to be listening better. He is also more vocal about things. He loves to be tossed in the air and to hang upside down.

Natasha was MUCH more active today and we are thankful for that. She was running everywhere ad laughing all the time. She too was putting everything in her mouth. They would both run behind the chairs and hide under desks and put the toy in their mouths.

I will be glad when we can take them outside or play in some other room that is not filled with 25 office chairs and 3 desks and 2 old computers! We actually saw them in their room where they live today. There were about 20 one and 1/2 and 2 year olds sitting at little tables waiting for their afternoon snack and watching a Russian cartoon.

Christian was disappointed that he could not see the children. It is a rule that kids are not allowed to come into contact with the orphans due to the fact that they might have been exposed to measels, chicken pox, mumps etc. We understood, but Christian was still sad that he could not go and play with them.

Please continue to pray that Natasha and Andrew would continue to grow healthy and strong.
