A Dream Comes True

Since Christian was 5 years old, he has loved baseball. He tells everyone that he has played baseball. Actually, the only time he has played baseball was when he was 5 and it was really t-ball. He was very good at t-ball and we still have his glove, trophy, and t-shirt -- all prized possessions. But, since we have lived in Europe/Russia for the past 7 years, there has not been the opporturnity to play baseball.

While we were home on vacation, Grandpa was able to hook Christian up with some time in the batting cages and with a professional batting coach!!! It was the highlight of his trip! (Even topped shooting a deer wtih a bow!)

Christian and Keith Mitchell. Keith was a former major league baseball player and batting coach. He gave Christian a batting lesson and was super encouraging to him.
