Happy Birthday Christian!

My sweet little boy turns 12 today!

What joy he has brought into our lives during the past 12 years. When he was first born, I thought that he could not get any cuter or be more fun -- but, at each stage of his life there are new experiences and changes that are all equally enjoyable! Smiling at 2 weeks, crawling at 6 months, talking at age 1, talking soon after, preschool friends at age 2, sleepovers and scooters at 3, t-ball at 5, moving to Russia at 6, starting first grade, learning Russian before he was 7, solo flight to America from Russia when he was 7, traveling to Ireland, Spain, Poland and Ukraine, exceling at basketball, football, soccer and tennis, now learning a new language and living in a new country -- and all before he turned 12. What an exciting and enriched life he has had.

What will the next 12 years bring? I pray that he will continue to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in his life and become a man after God's own heart.
