A Welcome Visit

Last week the Skinners (or at least half of them) came down from St. Pete for a visit. We had a delightful time hearing about life in the big city and sharing what's happening here. Mel helped us by bicycles -- I got 2 bicycles for my upcoming **th birthday. One for me and one for a friend.

When we moved to Russia, Christian was 6, Anna was 10. She could not even cross the road by herself!! Now she is almost 15and Christian is 11 and they both can cross the road by themselves. She usually calls Christian "munchkin" -- but I don't think that she will be able to do so much longer! It might be the other way around -- but I think that I heard a threat that if Christian EVER called her munchkin, he would get punched in the face HA HA.
