THE PARTY

We began with tacos! Homade tortillas and salsa -- it was a BIG hit.

Followed up by a mean game of spoons!!

The cake was good, but everyone loved the chocolate chip cookies the best.
They were eaten before they could cool off.

He got lots of nice gifts. Only in Russia, is it appropriate to get a "man purse" when you are 11. A really nice black and yellow bag, soccer ball, models, spiderman books and computer games - we are part of the take for the night. Chris also played the guitar and all the kids danced -- it was a hoot. They just did not realize that they were dancing to praise and worship music!

We all (Chris, Christian and Jill) decided that this was the last of the big birthday parties with 10 invitees -- you can not imagine the loudness of 11 boys running through the house. We sent them outside for 30 minutes and then they came back. Next time, we will try going to the dacha for the day or to a park -- boys will be boys and they had a LOT of fun.
