What's going on in our lives
This week has been an interesting week -- most weeks are. We have a volunteer team in town and they are/were doing a GREAT job mentoring students in the PPG Level III program! But for the time being we have had to suspend that program until we get some issues ironed out with documents.
Documents and stamps are always important here in Ivanovo. We are thankful that we were shown mercy and grace by the authorities here.
Adoption -- Well, they have lost our paperwork -- 2 1/2 months later we discover this. Monday we will go to visit the "adoption lady" and find out what we need to do to fix the problem. We went to see the kids today. They are doing great. Natasha was very happy and Andrew had had probably his first haircut! No more curls.
Trip to Kiev -- We leave on Tuesday night to go to Kiev for a few weeks to get a different type of visa. We are sort of looking forward to it. Our team mates are still there and are looking forward to seeing us.
School -- Christian made a 99 on a VERY difficult History Test!!! Way to go Christian. By the way, he is getting sooooo cute. He has also made some good friends with boys that live in our building. We are thankful for that. They spent a lot of time together today.
Spring -- It is getting greener here in Ivanovo. The trees are budding out and the daffodils are sprouting. Hopefully, I will have some pictures of flowers up before long.
