Life is never boring in Russia!
Have we mentioned before that Russia loves stamps? We have spent the last week getting our ducks in a row to submit for work visas and we think that we have it all together. In getting our transcripts from SWBTS translated, one notary would not certify the translation because they were not Apostilled -- a special stamp -- sort of an international notary. Thankfully, we were able to get the information notarized by another notary in a different town. Hopefully they will accept our transcripts since we really have NO IDEA where our diplomas are. It will take us 3 months to get diplomas reprinted. Chris spent 6 hours driving to this other town and waiting to get it done. He had safe traveling and made it back in time to get our wonderful mug shots done for the new visa -- they don't let you smile here in Russia for photos for documents. If I can get copies of the photos, I will post them for your viewing pleasure.
