New Friends

The family that lives across from the playground that we built invited the WHOLE TEAM for dinner. The only catch was that they are vegetarians! The team was great about eating smoked fish!!! (They only had to get over the head still being attached to the fish.) It was very delicious and to go with the fish we had fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, dill, parsley, baked apples and peppers marinated in honey. We also had compote (home made juice) from their own garden. For dessert, we had apple cake/pie made by Marina. It was a real feast. Afterwards, Chris, Sergey and Christian entertained everyone with music. I think that this is the first time Christian has played for a group other than his family (Mom and Dad). We all sang along in Russian and English. Russians love to sing and can sing folk songs for hours.
