Christian at Tennis

Yesterday, was Victory Day in Russia, so it was a holiday. It is a holiday celebrating the end of WWII. Everyone takes the day off and has a party. Instead of having a regular practice, Christian played a game with one of the kids in his group.

I would like to report to you that he won -- but he did not. He lost 6-1, 6-1. BUT, he won in a different way. During these two matches, he ran hard, played every point hard, and hustled all the way -- 100%. His attitude was great and he did not get angry or frustrated.

We recently watched "Facing the Giants" and I think that it made a great impression on Christian about how you play the game and what sports are really all about. I am proud of Christian and his attitude.

Praise God when you win, and Praise God when you loose.
