I saw a bear!! REALLY

I really did see a bear tonight. As we were driving home from a campground where we were visiting my brother and his family -- we saw a baby bear cub and mother bear crossing the road. The little bear stopped and turned around and stared at us as we stopped the car -- it was pretty cool.

Two days ago Chris, Butch and Victor (dad and brother) were sitting on the front porch and I heard a clatter and wondered where they went. They had seen a HUGE bear walking down the road in the middle of the subdivision. I was furious that they did not call me to grab my camera and come get a picture of this big black bear. I am sure that he was after all the black berries that are growing along the road.

I guess you can probably tell (since there is no picture) that I did not have my camera with me this evening when we saw the bears -- oh well, maybe tomorrow since it seems to be a daily occurance here in North Georgia! (Maybe I will take Mom's bear spray when I go jogging from now on. HA HA
