What's "Shashleek"

Sashleek Russian barbeque -- sort of like shiskabobs. It is delicious. Usually it is marinated overnight and then grilled over hot coals in a mongol - a special gril that will hold the skewers. We love sashleek! Our friend Mel has a great recipe. As in America, grilling is "man's work", cooking sashleek is "man's work" in Russia.
