Needed - Get out of Jail Free Card

Mother's Day -- After watching the movie "The Climb" with friends from church, some men dressed in plain clothes asked where we were from. I thought they were just wondering why we have a strange accent and wanted to say "Where do you think we are from?" Luckily I did not -- they were from the local police station and wanted to check our documents (passports, visas,) -- which were at home. Friends went to our house to get them and we got to take a ride in a blue van to the police station.

After 2 hours of waiting and 2 hours of explaining why we don't have registration (which we have been working on for THREE months) they let us go without fining us.

Three of our friends also were detained because they were passing out Bibles. As the officers were dropping the Bible into a plastic bag as evidence -- I thought -- go ahead and take it -- and READ it from cover to cover!!!
